Emmanuel Dental Center (“EDC”, “we”, “our”) operates an automated assistant, Eli, that answers patient enquiries sent to our Facebook Page via Messenger. Eli is built and maintained on our behalf by Zettura Systems. This policy explains what information we collect through that channel, why, and how you can have it removed.

In short: we only use what you send us in order to answer your question and, if you ask for one, arrange a dental appointment. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

1. Information we collect

When you message our Facebook Page, we may receive and store:

Your public Facebook profile basics — the name and profile picture shown on your account, and the page-scoped ID Meta assigns to your conversation with us.
The content of your messages — anything you type or send us, including images or files you choose to attach.
Contact details you volunteer — such as your full name, mobile number, or email address, when you provide them so we can confirm a booking.
Appointment details — the service you are asking about and your preferred date or time.

We do not request payment card details, government identification, or medical records through Messenger. Please do not send them.

2. Why we use it

To answer your questions about our services, hours, and location.
To record and confirm appointment requests.
To pass your conversation to a member of our team when a human should handle it.
To keep an internal record of enquiries so our staff can follow up accurately.

We do not use your messages for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

3. Service providers

We use a small number of trusted providers to operate this service. They process your information only to deliver it to us:

Meta Platforms	Delivers messages between you and our Facebook Page.
Chatwoot	The shared inbox our staff use to read and reply to conversations.
OpenAI	Generates Eli’s replies. Conversation content is sent to produce a response.
GoHighLevel	Our contact and appointment record system.
Zettura Systems	Builds and maintains the assistant on our behalf.

Some of these providers operate servers outside the Philippines, so your information may be processed abroad under contractual safeguards.

4. How long we keep it

We keep conversation records for as long as needed to serve you and to maintain accurate patient enquiry records, and we delete or anonymise them when they are no longer required. You may ask us to delete your information sooner at any time — see below.

5. How to delete your information

To request deletion of your data, do either of the following:

Send a message to our Facebook Page containing the words “DELETE MY DATA”, or
Email privacy@zetturasystems.com with the Facebook name you used to message us.

We will confirm and erase your conversation history and contact record within 30 days. You can also remove our Page’s access to your Messenger conversation at any time from your Facebook settings, under Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.

6. Your rights

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) you have the right to be informed, to access, to correct, to object, to erasure or blocking, to damages, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. You may also lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).

7. Children

This service is intended for adults. Where a patient is a minor, we expect a parent or guardian to make contact on their behalf.

8. Security

Conversations are transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on access-controlled systems. Only authorised EDC staff and Zettura Systems personnel maintaining the service can view them. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

9. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
